I wholeheartedly congratulate Hasret Tuncer, the first athlete from Bornova Belediyespor Club’s volleyball branch to be called up to the National Team. I extend my sincere thanks to her coaches at our club, where she rose through the youth ranks — Fulya Tırpancı, Hayal Özdilek, and Emre Makineci — as well as to our Sports Club President Tuncay Altunkaya, our Sports Affairs Director Cüneyt İnal, and our Deputy Mayor Cemal Hocaoğlu for their dedication and hard work. Of course, I also congratulate her father, Ramazan Tuncer, who played a significant role in Hasret’s success. This beautiful journey — growing through sports and reaching the national jersey — is the clearest reflection of the importance we place on sports in Bornova. Wishing Hasret continued success and a bright future!
