Ömer Eşki was born on June 3, 1986. He graduated from Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Textile Engineering. He continued his education by completing his master's degree at Yaşar University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Energy Law, and subsequently at Ege University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of International Relations and Political Science. He has studies in the fields of Renewable Energy and International Maritime Law. He started his political life in 2005 at the Republican People's Party Bornova Youth Branch. He served as the Treasurer of the Republican People's Party Bornova Youth Branch between 2005-2006, the Secretary of the Republican People's Party İzmir Provincial Youth Branch between 2006-2007, and the President of the Republican People's Party Bornova Youth Branch between 2007-2010. He ran for the Presidency of the Republican People's Party İzmir Youth Branch in 2012. He served as a member of the Atatürkist Thought Association and as a member of the Youth Commission between 2007-2008. During his student years, he served as the Student Member Commission President of the Izmir Textile Engineers Chamber within the Union of Chambers of Turkish Architects and Engineers. After his education, he served as the Izmir Branch Manager in the Chamber of Textile Engineers between 2014-2016 and 2016-2018, and as a delegate in the General Assembly of the Union of Chambers of Turkish Architects and Engineers.

Ömer Eşki, who is a constant part of social and political life in Bornova, served as the General Accountant in the Yeşilçam Işıkspor Football Club between 2009-2011 and as a columnist in Bornova's local newspapers at certain intervals since 2009. He served as an executive in the Bornova Municipality Youth Assembly between 2009-2014 and in the Bornova Municipality City Council between 2014-2019.

Ömer Eşki, who became a civil servant in 2014, became a member of Tüm Yerel Sen İzmir Branch No. 2, which is affiliated with Birleşik Kamu İş. He served as a Union Representative in Bornova Municipality in 2015-2016, and as a Board Member of Tüm Yerel Sen İzmir Branch No. 2 in 2016-2019 and 2019-2021. Ömer Eşki, who was elected as the President of Tüm Yerel Sen İzmir Branch No. 2 with the 1st Extraordinary General Assembly held in October 2021, continued his Branch Presidentship with the 4th Ordinary General Assembly held in October 2022 and served as a delegate to the upper board. Ömer Eşki, who has been an active advocate of the left and Atatürkist discourse since his high school years, has undertaken important duties in the planning and implementation of many organizations in the Republican People's Party, Atatürkist Thought Association, Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects and United Public Workers' Party. Ömer Eşki, who has more than 10 years of experience in local government management, is married and has a daughter.
