Mayor's Message

Dear Bornova residents,


Bornova is one of the most deep-rooted cities not only in Izmir but also in Turkey. It is a great honor and responsibility for me to serve this beautiful city with its history, culture, universities, youth and spirit of solidarity.


As we promised when we took office; we set out with a transparent, fair and participatory municipality approach that is based on the priorities of the people. Thanks to this common sense that finds a response in every neighborhood, every street and every person, we are transforming Bornova together.


While preparing our city for a future that is in harmony with nature, contemporary and resilient; we prioritize projects that observe social justice and support young people and women. Because we are working to make a life in Bornova where no one is left behind possible.


As we have done so far, we will continue to make Bornova even more beautiful with your opinions and contributions. Because this city belongs to all of us… And we are strong together.
