As Bornova Municipality, we have started our TIR Garage arrangement works in the 14-acre area located next to Işıkkent Kara Nakliyeciler Sitesi. We are progressing with our project to both ensure traffic order and create a qualified area where our drivers can meet their basic needs.

With the new arrangement, a modern garage will be built where 100 vehicles can be parked at the same time and social facilities such as showers, toilets and cafeterias will be available for TIR drivers. In this way, it is aimed to prevent haphazard roadside parking and provide a permanent solution to the parking problem in Işıkkent, Pınarbaşı, Mevlana and Doğanlar regions.

As Bornova Municipality, we are preparing to respond to an important need for the local tradesmen and logistics sector with this project that we are carrying out in cooperation with İzmir Metropolitan Municipality.

We continue our works with the goal of a more comfortable Bornova for our drivers and a more organized Bornova for our city.
