A meaningful cleanup movement in Bornova

In an environmental cleanup event organized through the collaboration of Bornova Municipality and partner institutions, participants both walked and cleaned the environment, raising awareness. Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized that every piece of waste collected is an important step toward a cleaner future.

The environmental cleanup event, organized in cooperation with Bornova Municipality, Bornova City Council, TEMA Foundation İzmir Provincial Representation, Yaşar University International Trade and Finance Community, KİFDER, and Gül Hanım Mansion, was completed with strong participation.

Small steps, big impact

In the event held to draw attention to nature, participants both walked and collected waste from the surroundings, creating awareness. With the slogan “We walk for nature, we clean for the future,” each piece of trash collected from nature became a tangible gain in reducing environmental damage. Participants demonstrated the power of acting together in the field.
