The Short Form of Cinema Meets in Bornova for the 6th Time

Applications Open for the 6th International Bornova Short Film Days

Applications have begun for the 6th International Bornova Short Film Days, which will be held on April 24–26, 2026. Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki stated that they aim to make Bornova a meeting point for art, free expression, and young filmmakers.

Organized for the sixth time this year by the Bornova Municipality, the International Bornova Short Film Days will meet cinema enthusiasts on April 24–26, 2026. As part of the festival, domestic and international short films will be screened in Bornova, while an important space for sharing and creative production will be created for young filmmakers.

Directors and producers who wish to participate in the festival may submit their applications between February 10–15, 2026, via basvuru.bornova.bel.tr.

Mayor Eşki: “Bornova is a City of Art and Free Expression”

Emphasizing the importance given to culture and the arts, Mayor Ömer Eşki said:

“Short Film Days is a very valuable platform where young filmmakers can make their voices heard. We are determined to transform Bornova into a city known for art, cinema, and free expression.”
