Büyükpark’s iconic fountain has been renewed

Bornova Municipality has completely renovated the dry fountain in Büyükpark, transforming it into a modern and visually striking landmark with shades of blue, white, and yellow. At the center of the design is the “North Star” motif, symbolizing Mayor Ömer Eşki’s vision of public service. Mayor Eşki stated that the project reflects the municipality’s commitment to enhancing the city’s aesthetics and improving residents’ quality of life.

Bornova Municipality has revitalized the dry fountain located in Büyükpark, one of the district’s most iconic public spaces. The long-neglected area has been redesigned with contemporary touches, creating a vibrant and attractive environment. The “North Star” concept, representing the municipality’s guiding vision for Bornova’s future, now takes physical form through the fountain’s renewed design.

A Modern Aesthetic in Blue, White, and Yellow

As part of the renovation, the fountain floor was redesigned using blue, white, and yellow tones, creating a lively and refreshing visual composition. Surrounded by flags and lush greenery, the renewed fountain features interactive water jets that provide a playful space for children while offering a relaxing atmosphere for visitors strolling through the park. At its center, the bright star motif symbolizes Bornova’s dynamic vision for the future.
