A New Space for Art: Galeri Hamam

Galeri Hamam, recently brought to the city by Bornova Municipality, opened its doors with a brand-new exhibition. Located inside the historic Dramalılar Mansion, this unique art venue now hosts painter Sunar Dıramalı’s exhibition titled “The Dance of Colors and Techniques.”

The exhibition features Dıramalı’s original works created using various printmaking techniques. Her pieces reflect a harmonious blend of color, form, and texture, offering visitors a rich visual experience.

“Art is the strongest voice of the Republic and secularism”

During the opening, artist Sunar Dıramalı expressed her gratitude to Bornova Municipality for its support of art and artists, saying:

“Art in modern countries does not allow regression because it always rises from its ashes. Art is tolerance, it is the struggle for secularism. True artists understand the value of the Republic and democracy.”

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized that culture and art are integral to the city’s identity, stating:

“Galeri Hamam has become a new center where art breathes in Bornova. Our doors and hearts are always open to artists.”
