6th International Bornova Short Film Days on April 24–26

Organized traditionally by Bornova Municipality, the 6th International Bornova Short Film Days will meet cinema lovers on April 24–25–26, 2026. Featuring short films in fiction, documentary, and animation categories at both national and international levels, the event will turn Bornova into the center of cinema for three days.

Three Days Filled with Screenings, Talks, and Workshops

In addition to film screenings, the festival program will include director talks, cinema workshops, a Pitching Platform that allows young filmmakers to present their projects, a poster exhibition, surprise events, and opportunities for new collaborations. The event will bring together both industry professionals and young people with an interest in cinema.

Mayor Eşki: “Bornova Is a City That Opens the Way for Young Filmmakers”

Emphasizing that the Short Film Days are more than just a festival, Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki stated:
“Bornova is a city that supports art and young creators. Through the International Bornova Short Film Days, we contribute to young filmmakers making their voices heard, different cultures coming together, and creative collaborations being born. We will continue to spread the transformative power of cinema from Bornova to the world.”

An International Gathering in Bornova

With a participant profile that grows every year, the festival aims to strengthen Bornova’s culture and arts vision on an international scale in 2026 by once again bringing together local and international filmmakers in Bornova.
