Needs Met Through the “Hanging Items” Campaign

Bornova Municipality is delivering usable furniture and household appliances to those in need through its “Hanging Items” campaign launched for flood victims. Mayor Ömer Eşki stated that this initiative, which strengthens the culture of solidarity, will help overcome these difficult days together.

Following the recent flood disaster, Bornova Municipality implemented the “Hanging Items” campaign to support affected residents. Within the scope of the campaign, usable and working-condition furniture and white goods are collected from donors’ homes by municipal teams and delivered to families in need.

The campaign, which will continue until February 28, aims to reinforce the spirit of solidarity and help restore daily life to normal as quickly as possible in the aftermath of the disaster.
