Children and Families Met in the Same Rhythm

At the February 14 Love Day event organized by Bornova Municipality’s Child Play and Activity Centers under the slogan “Life Is Beautiful When You Love,” children enjoyed joyful moments dancing with their parents to unforgettable songs of Turkish music. The enthusiastic finale, performed to the song “Hayat Bayram Olsa” (“If Only Life Were a Celebration”), highlighted the spirit of love and sharing. Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized that such events, which strengthen family bonds, are of great value for Bornova.

The February 14 Love Day Event, organized within the scope of the Parent Workshop by Bornova Municipality’s Child Play and Activity Centers, featured emotional and colorful scenes. Held under the slogan “Life Is Beautiful When You Love,” the event brought children together with their mothers and fathers to dance to timeless classics of Turkish music.

Guests who filled the hall accompanied the children’s enthusiasm with applause, while families shared joyful and unforgettable moments with their children. The event concluded with a grand finale as everyone sang and danced together to “Hayat Bayram Olsa.”

In his remarks about the event, Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki highlighted the importance of quality time spent with family in a child’s development. He stated:

Safe and Quality Services at 10 Locations

Bornova Municipality’s Child Play and Activity Centers operate in a total of 10 locations: Naldöken, Evka 3, Merkez, Mevlana, Serintepe, Pınarbaşı, Atatürk, Altındağ, and Doğanlar neighborhoods (in two separate locations).

These centers, which receive strong interest particularly from mothers and families, provide services for children aged 3 to 5, five days a week. Children spend three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon in a safe and educational environment under the supervision of expert instructors. This enables families to leave their children at the centers with peace of mind, allowing them to dedicate time to themselves and comfortably manage their daily responsibilities.
