Bornova Municipality Brings Children Together with Art, Nature, and History

Bornova Municipality is bringing children together with art, nature, and history through a series of colorful workshops आयोजित throughout April at the Yeşilova Mound Visitor Center. As part of the “Fun-Filled April Workshops at the Mound,” which started on April 11, children are both learning and having fun.

Following the first event, “Little Nature Artists,” the “From Soil to Color” workshop on April 18 will allow young children to experience the joy of creating art with natural materials. This activity aims to support their sensory development.

On April 19, children aged 7–12 will participate in the “Creating the Anatolian Leopard with Symbols” workshop, combining ceramics and painting to explore Anatolia’s symbolic heritage through art.

On April 26, the “Wear Your Mask (Stone Age)” workshop will take children on a journey to prehistoric times, where they will design their own masks. Led by instructor Esat Şahin, this event is designed for children aged 5–10 and offers both fun and educational insights into ancient civilizations.

Participation in the workshops is limited, and prior registration is required. This special series by Bornova Municipality aims to contribute to children’s social and cultural development.
