Mayor Eşki Solves Problems on Site

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki inspected the infrastructure and social space needs that have intensified in Doğanlar Neighborhood due to urban transformation and rapid population growth. He initiated immediate action to address urgent issues including park renovations, road improvements, and stream rehabilitation. During the early morning field visit, accompanied by the neighborhood headman and municipal department directors, the area's needs were identified on site and a rapid action plan was put into motion.

Early Morning Field Visit Brings Immediate Solutions

As part of his routine neighborhood inspections, Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki visited Doğanlar Neighborhood at first light. He was accompanied by Doğanlar Neighborhood Headman Eyüp Kocatepe, Doğanlar Sports Club President İbrahim Çam, and the municipality's relevant department directors. Walking through the neighborhood street by street, Mayor Eşki listened directly to residents' concerns and immediately instructed the relevant municipal departments to address the identified issues.

Major Infrastructure and Urban Improvement Initiative for Doğanlar

Mayor Eşki emphasized that Doğanlar Neighborhood has been growing rapidly as a result of ongoing urban transformation, bringing increased demand for roads, parks, and public spaces. He announced that renovation works at Uzun Alioğlu Park would begin immediately to give the area a modern appearance. He also stated that road improvement works would be carried out and that the municipality would coordinate with İZSU on stream rehabilitation efforts. In addition to the existing health center, sports field, and urban garden, new projects that will add value to the neighborhood are also planned to be implemented in the near future.

Following the site visit, Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki made the following statement:

"We started our day in Doğanlar Neighborhood. Doğanlar is an area experiencing rapid urban transformation, where population growth has significantly increased the demand for parks and roads. Together with our neighborhood headman and the president of the local sports club, we assessed the area's needs on site. We will soon renovate Uzun Alioğlu Park and transform it into a public space worthy of Doğanlar. We are also directing our road maintenance teams to the neighborhood to respond to increasing infrastructure needs. We will work in coordination with İZSU to resolve the issues concerning the stream. We will continue serving our citizens and making Doğanlar a more beautiful, comfortable, and livable neighborhood."
