Mayor Eşki: “We will connect all of Bornova with comfortable roads”

Bornova Municipality’s Directorate of Public Works teams continue roadworks simultaneously in both central areas and surrounding neighborhoods. Mayor Ömer Eşki inspected the asphalting works in Mevlana Neighborhood, emphasizing that every part of Bornova will be equipped with modern, comfortable roads.

The Directorate of Public Works teams of Bornova Municipality are carrying out road construction at full speed both in the town center and in outlying neighborhoods. With works being carried out simultaneously across the district, transportation comfort for Bornova residents is being enhanced.

Mayor Eşki on-site to monitor the works

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki personally inspected the fieldwork of the Public Works teams. Taking part in the asphalting works on 1712/3 Street in Mevlana Neighborhood, Mayor Eşki underlined their commitment to renewing every corner of Bornova as promised.

Mayor Eşki said:
“We declared that we would beautify every part of Bornova step by step and make all its roads comfortable. Today, we are in a street in Mevlana Neighborhood that has worn out over time. Our teams will lay asphalt here today. Wherever there are problematic areas in Bornova—be it Çamkule, İnönü, the town center, or Mevlana—we will carry out the roadworks needed.”

Simultaneous renewal across Bornova

As part of the ongoing efforts, asphalt paving, road renewal, and maintenance works continue non-stop throughout Bornova. Thanks to works carried out both on central streets and in surrounding neighborhoods, residents will have access to safer and more comfortable roads.
