Children in Bornova learned while having fun

Children enjoyed both learning and exploring nature during the “Our Classroom is the Forest, Our Game is Nature” workshop organized by the Bornova Belediyesi Children’s Play and Activity Centers at Aşık Veysel Rekreasyon Alanı. During the event, children participated in activities using natural materials, read books, and discovered new things about nature with the guidance of expert instructors. Mothers also expressed their gratitude to the municipality for providing such services.

The Nature Workshop, organized under the theme “Our Classroom is the Forest, Our Game is Nature,” brought children together with nature. Held at Aşık Veysel Recreation Area, the event allowed children to enjoy the pleasant weather while experiencing the joy of learning and discovering in a natural environment.

The workshop was conducted with the participation of children and their mothers under the guidance of expert instructors. The children carried out various activities using natural materials such as leaves, stones, and snail shells. Throughout the event, they had fun while learning new things, read books, asked questions about nature, and explored their surroundings.

Mothers thanked the municipality

Mothers stated that the nature-based activity was both educational and enjoyable for their children and thanked the municipality for organizing the workshop and for the services provided at the children’s centers.

Ömer Eşki emphasized the importance of children building a connection with nature at an early age:

“We place great importance on raising children who know nature and are sensitive to the environment. At our Children’s Play and Activity Centers, we not only provide a safe environment but also organize activities that enable children to learn through exploration. We want our children to grow up close to nature and become curious individuals who love to learn.”
