Roads damaged after infrastructure works are quickly renewed

Bornova Belediyesi milled and re-asphalted the roads on Kazım Karabekir Avenue and 457 Street, which had been damaged due to infrastructure works carried out by İZSU. The works were carried out at night to prevent traffic disruption. Ömer Eşki also inspected the works on site. Emphasizing that the infrastructure works were necessary, Eşki stated that efforts will continue to make Bornova more beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.

Bornova Municipality continued its road renewal works across the district in central Bornova. Roads on Kazım Karabekir Avenue and 457 Street that had deteriorated due to İZSU’s infrastructure works were milled and re-asphalted by municipal teams. The works were carried out during nighttime hours to avoid disrupting traffic.

Mayor Ömer Eşki visited the site together with the relevant department officials to observe the nighttime asphalt works and received information from the teams.

“Infrastructure works were necessary”

Mayor Ömer Eşki noted that the works were continuing in front of the Government Building and emphasized the importance of infrastructure investments.

“We are currently in front of the Government Building. We are making the final touches here. Some people criticize it, but the infrastructure works carried out by İZSU were very important and necessary. Therefore, we thank the Metropolitan Municipality.”

“Some will talk, we will keep working”

Stating that road works are not limited to asphalt alone, Mayor Eşki emphasized that aesthetic improvements are also being implemented in Bornova.

“We are not just laying asphalt. With the lighting works we have carried out, we are giving these roads a much more aesthetic appearance. Our efforts to create a more beautiful Bornova will continue. Some will talk, and we will keep working.”
