Fevzi Çakmak Street Ready for School Opening

Following the completion of İZSU’s comprehensive infrastructure works, Bornova Municipality resurfaced Mustafa Kemal Street—one of the busiest roads in the district—in time for the school opening. Soon after, road renewal works on Fevzi Çakmak Street were also completed.

Mayor Eşki oversaw the works on site
Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki monitored the asphalting works that continued until the early hours of the morning, receiving updates directly from the teams. Emphasizing the increased traffic with the start of the school year, Eşki underlined that works were accelerated to meet the deadline.

Mayor Eşki: “We are working for comfortable roads in every corner of Bornova”
During his statement, Mayor Ömer Eşki said:
“We prioritized streets and avenues where schools are located. To prevent the traffic congestion that comes with the first school bell, we worked day and night and completed these projects before schools opened. Our efforts continue without interruption to provide comfortable and safe roads in every corner of Bornova.”
