Textile Engineer Mayor Meets with MTK Industrial Estate Representatives

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki, a graduate of Textile Engineering, visited the MTK Industrial Estate, the heart of İzmir’s textile industry, where he met with Site Chairman Ömer Mancı and members of the board. During the visit, Mayor Eşki inspected the estate’s infrastructure and environmental improvement needs on site while listening directly to the concerns and requests of local business owners. MTK Chairman Ömer Mancı thanked the Mayor for Bornova Municipality’s solution-oriented approach and forward-looking vision.

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki visited the MTK Industrial Estate, one of the most important centers of İzmir’s textile and apparel industry, where he met with the site management and local business owners. Drawing on his background as a textile engineer, Mayor Eşki discussed practical and long-term solutions to the challenges facing the industrial estate.

Mayor Eşki first met with MTK Industrial Estate Chairman Ömer Mancı and members of the board for a productive discussion. Expressing his pleasure at visiting an industrial estate closely connected to his own academic background, he exchanged ideas on joint projects that could strengthen both the textile sector and the economic potential of the MTK Industrial Estate.

Street-by-Street Inspection of the Estate

Following the meeting, Mayor Eşki toured the industrial estate together with Chairman Ömer Mancı and accompanying officials. During the site inspection, infrastructure, environmental improvements, sanitation, and other physical needs were assessed in detail.

Listening directly to the requests of business owners, Mayor Eşki assured them that Bornova Municipality would mobilize all available resources to address the estate’s needs as quickly as possible.
