The Stars of Tomorrow Graduate!

Bornova Municipality organized graduation ceremonies for 500 children aged 3–6 who attended its 10 Child Play and Activity Centers, presenting them with certificates of participation. Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized the municipality’s commitment to expanding educational investments and increasing the number of centers.

Children aged 3–5 attending the Child Play and Activity Centers operated by Bornova Municipality’s Department of Women and Family Services experienced the excitement of their first graduation as they received their participation certificates at the end of the academic year. Colorful ceremonies were held simultaneously at 10 different centers across the district. The children were delighted with special gifts and treats prepared for them, while their families shared in their joy. Parents eagerly captured these memorable moments on their phones.

Children Who Learn Through Play Step Confidently Into the Future

This valuable service, provided through 10 centers located in Naldöken, Evka-3, Merkez, Mevlana, Serintepe, Pınarbaşı, Atatürk, Altındağ, and two locations in Doğanlar, helps children socialize from an early age.

Under the guidance of expert educators, children attend half-day programs on weekdays, developing their psychomotor, cognitive, emotional, and physical skills through play groups and various educational materials. The centers offer a safe social environment where children can interact with their peers, while regular cultural trips and activities enrich their imagination and creativity.

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki highlighted the importance of the centers in supporting children’s development and contributing to family life. Stating that the smiles on children’s faces are their greatest source of motivation, Eşki said:

While our children spend quality time with expert educators, parents can confidently entrust their children to us and dedicate time to themselves. We are determined to increase the number of these centers and continue our educational investments so that every child in Bornova can grow up under equal and high-quality conditions. I wholeheartedly congratulate all our children celebrating this graduation milestone and the devoted families who support them.”
