Weaving Workshop at Children’s Play and Activity Centers

As part of the parent workshops organized at Bornova Municipality’s Children’s Play and Activity Centers, a weaving workshop for children was held. Together with their parents, children worked on kilim weaving, developing their manual skills while getting acquainted with the traditional art of weaving.

Learning Through Play, Creating as a Family

During the workshop, children wove kilims using colorful yarns and simple looms, while parents actively took part in the process. The activity supported children’s motor skills, attention, and creativity, and also created enjoyable moments that strengthened the bond between children and their families.
