Bornova Municipality organized an event bringing together landscape architecture students doing internships at municipalities and the İzmir Branch of the Chamber of Landscape Architects (PMO). The event was also attended by PMO İzmir Branch President Salih Yeşilbaş, where speakers shared their professional experiences with the students.

Landscape architects Simge Gürsel, Selçuk Şener, and Selçuk Aksoy gave presentations on Practical Applications and Project Experiences in Landscape Architecture. They showcased their own works, explained the implementation processes of projects, and highlighted key points to consider during these processes.

Emphasizing the importance of connecting future landscape architects with experienced professionals, Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki said:

“By bringing our students together with experts in their fields, we wanted them to benefit from their experiences, ask questions they are curious about, and learn what steps to take as they move forward in their career paths. I believe that with the knowledge they gain here, they will be more successful in their professional lives.”
