A total of 3,100 citizens currently benefiting from the Kent Market, together with 325 newly issued pensioner butcher cards, means that our municipal butcher shop will now provide meat support to approximately 3,500 families.

Each eligible citizen will have the right to purchase 1 kg of ground beef and 1 kg of cubed meat per month.

Citizens who benefit from the Kent Market can also use the same card to make purchases at the butcher shop.

Pensioner citizens are required to apply to the Department of Social Assistance Services with the following documents:

1. Pension statement (with barcode)

2. Certificate of residence

3. Photocopy of ID card

The butcher shop will be open on weekdays between 08:30 and 17:30.
