Bornova Municipality Brings Services to Rural Areas

As part of the “Köyde-İz” (Rural Trace) Project, Bornova Municipality provided health education in Beşyol Neighborhood, covering topics such as women's health, physical therapy, dental health, diabetes, and blood pressure. Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized that the project aims to raise awareness about healthy living in rural areas.

The Third Stop of the Köyde-İz Project: Beşyol

The “Köyde-İz” Project, initiated by Bornova Municipality in rural neighborhoods, continues with its health education phase. Following Kavaklıdere and Çamiçi, the latest event took place in Beşyol Neighborhood, where comprehensive training was delivered on women’s health and diseases, physical therapy and exercises, dental care, diabetes, and hypertension. The sessions, attended by Deputy Mayor Duygu Bölük, attracted significant interest from local residents.

Mayor Eşki: “We’re bringing more than roads to villages—we’re bringing knowledge”

Speaking about the project, Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki stated, “Providing not only infrastructure but also health and educational services to villages is one of our key responsibilities. We place great importance on these trainings to help women, children, and the elderly lead healthier lives.”
