Bornova Municipality organized a surprise birthday celebration for 40-year-old Selçuk Kosova, a resident of Çamdibi with an intellectual disability. The sanitation workers he warmly greeted every day visited his home and celebrated with a special cake featuring a municipal cleaning vehicle. Selçuk’s mother, Mergüze Kosova, expressed her gratitude to Bornova Municipality and Mayor Ömer Eşki.

Bornova Municipality responded to Selçuk’s affection with a special birthday surprise. Teams from the Directorate of Disability and Elderly Services visited his home in Çamdibi and presented him with a custom-made cake featuring an image of a garbage truck emptying waste containers. Selçuk’s excitement upon seeing the cake deeply moved everyone around him.
