Future University Students Meet with Mayor Eşki at the Youth Center

Following the challenging university entrance exam, high school students from Bornova visited the recently opened Gülşah Durbay Youth Center, established by the Bornova Municipality. During the visit, the students met with Mayor Ömer Eşki and expressed their admiration for the center’s technological and social facilities.

Twelfth-grade students from Sıdıka Rodop Anatolian High School visited the Gülşah Durbay Youth Center in Ergene Neighborhood together with their teachers after completing the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS). Accompanied by Mayor Ömer Eşki, the students explored the center’s technological and social amenities, including the 3D printing workshop and study areas.

While guiding the students through the center, Mayor Ömer Eşki shared information and advice, emphasizing that the center would thrive through the energy and creativity of young people.

“We will keep Gülşah Durbay’s unfinished dreams alive through the projects you create here and through the spirit of solidarity you build together,” he said.

First Memberships Completed

Impressed by the center’s free facilities, the students explored the 3D printing production workshop and green-screen studio before completing their memberships.

A Second Home for Young People

Located at the entrance of the Historic Bornova Bazaar, the center occupies a 250-square-meter, three-story building. It offers a wide range of services, including silent and collaborative study rooms, production workshops, and a free laundry facility, meeting both the educational and social needs of students.
