“Hope Grows with the Youth”

President of the Atatürkist Thought Association (ADD), Hüsnü Bozkurt, visited Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki along with representatives from the İzmir branch and pinned membership badges on new young members. Mayor Eşki called on more young people who embrace Atatürk’s principles and reforms to join the association.

Bozkurt: “Atatürkist youth are the guarantee of Turkey”
ADD President Dr. Mustafa Hüsnü Bozkurt, who presented badges to the young members, emphasized in his speech that the Atatürkist Thought Association is not only a guardian of the past but also a safeguard for the future. Bozkurt said:

“Seeing the enthusiasm of our young members here today gives us great hope. Walking alongside youth who defend Atatürk’s ideas, secularism, science, and modernity strengthens our faith in Turkey’s future. I thank our Mayor Ömer Eşki and his esteemed wife Beste for their membership and sensitivity. The Atatürkist stance is the guiding light of this land.”

Eşki: “Every young person should be a soldier on Atatürk’s path”
As a member of the ADD Bornova Branch, Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized the importance of organized youth movements during his speech:

“The Atatürkist Thought Association is not just a civil society organization—it is a center of ideology where the values of the Republic are firmly defended. Bringing young people together under this roof is our duty. The young friends proudly wearing their badges today will build the bright future of Turkey. We will do our part to help grow ADD’s membership.”

“A gift of inspiration from past to future.”
At the end of the visit, Mayor Ömer Eşki presented Hüsnü Bozkurt with a miniature of the statue composition located at the newly opened Abide-i Hürriyet Square in Kazım Dirik Neighborhood, which depicts Atatürk, Fatih Sultan Mehmet, and the Trojan hero Hector. Eşki said:
“These three leaders symbolize timeless vision and leadership. We wanted to express Atatürk’s universality within this historical context.”
