Bornova’s Finest New Landmark Is Coming to İbrahim Hakkı Avenue

Bornova Municipality, which continues its road construction, sidewalk, median and environmental landscaping works across the district without interruption, is undertaking another major transformation project that will add value to the city. Inspecting the ongoing works at the intersection of Yüzbaşı İbrahim Hakkı Avenue and 23rd Street, Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki announced a project that will change the future of the area. Stating that the infrastructure works carried out by İZSU have been completed and that superstructure works have been accelerated, Mayor Eşki announced that the former construction debris dumping site will be transformed into one of Bornova’s most prestigious gathering places.

Infrastructure Completed, All Teams on Site for Superstructure Works

As part of the district-wide vision for aesthetic and structural transformation, Mayor Ömer Eşki visited the site together with the relevant department officials and received technical information about the intensive works underway. Emphasizing the importance of coordination between institutions, Eşki stated that following the completion of İZSU’s infrastructure works in the area, municipal teams immediately began asphalt paving, sidewalk construction and environmental landscaping without delay.

Mayor Eşki: “Asphalt Works Will Be Completed Very Soon”

Announcing that the works on Yüzbaşı İbrahim Hakkı Avenue would be completed rapidly, Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki said:

“İZSU has completed its work here. We are taking care of the remaining works. Very soon, all asphalt works in this area will be completed.”

“We Will Create a New Place Where Many People Will Come Together”

Stating that they would transform the previously unused area where construction debris and stones had accumulated into a landmark project worthy of Bornova, Mayor Eşki continued:

“There was an area right across from us where there used to be construction debris and stones. Very soon, we will bring one of Bornova’s finest works to that area as well. This place will become known for its visual appeal and beauty. We will get rid of this derelict appearance and, very soon, build a place there where many people from Bornova will come together.”
