Rural Services Crowned Champions on the Pitch!

The Interdepartmental Five-a-Side Football Tournament, organized to strengthen bonds among Bornova Municipality employees and promote solidarity within the institution, concluded with an exciting final match. After nearly two months of competition where friendship and sportsmanship went hand in hand, the Directorate of Rural Services claimed the championship title by defeating the Directorate of Social Services.

A Two-Month Marathon Featuring 17 Departments

The tournament was organized to boost employee motivation and reinforce interdepartmental communication through the unifying power of sports. A total of 17 municipal departments took part in the competition. Matches were held during lunch breaks and attracted large crowds of municipal employees, creating a festive atmosphere in the stands. Throughout the tournament, fair play and team spirit remained at the forefront. While players gave their all on the field, their colleagues supported them enthusiastically from the sidelines.

The Championship Trophy Goes to Rural Services

Excitement reached its peak during the grand final held at Büyükpark Football Field. The Directorate of Rural Services emerged victorious and completed the tournament as champions. The Directorate of Social Services finished in second place, while the Directorate of Health Affairs secured third place.

Trophies and medals were presented to the top teams by Bornova Municipality Deputy Mayor Duygu Bölük. Speaking at the award ceremony, Bölük thanked all participants and everyone who contributed to the organization of the tournament.
