The first-ever “Industrial Street Food Fest” at the 3rd Industrial Site attracted great interest

The “Industrial Street Food Fest,” organized for the first time at Bornova 3rd Industrial Site, brought citizens together with local tradespeople through street food, music events and social gatherings. Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki, who attended the festival, stated that the organization added a new brand value to Bornova and thanked everyone who contributed. İzmir 3rd Industrial Site Chairman Şenol Demirel said the festival aimed to connect the industrial community with the public.

Featuring everything from street food and live music to social gatherings and entertaining activities, the festival created colorful scenes throughout the industrial site. Food stands offering a variety of flavors welcomed visitors, while musical performances and social events transformed the area into a lively festival venue. The event drew attention with its unique concept that challenged conventional perceptions of industrial zones.

Mayor Eşki toured the festival area

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki attended the festival with his family and toured the event area, meeting with tradespeople and young visitors. He visited the stands and chatted with residents throughout the festival.

Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized that the organization added value to the Bornova brand, saying:

“There is tremendous effort and dedication behind this event. I would like to thank Chairman Şenol and everyone involved for creating such a wonderful atmosphere here. They set out to change society’s perception of industrial areas, and I believe they have been very successful. Hosting such an organization in Bornova’s industrial zone and creating a new brand value for the district is very important for us as well. I sincerely thank all our tradespeople, companies and citizens who contributed and participated. Hopefully, next year we will organize an even bigger festival together.”

İzmir 3rd Industrial Site Chairman Şenol Demirel stated that the main purpose of the festival was to bring industrial tradespeople and the public together.

Demirel said:

“This festival required a great deal of effort. We organized this event to connect the people of Bornova, İzmir and all our citizens with the tradespeople of the industrial site. We are going through times when everyone needs to smile and enjoy themselves. Seeing people spend quality time here makes us very happy.”

Throughout the festival, visitors had the opportunity not only to enjoy street food but also to communicate directly with industrial tradespeople. The all-day events transformed the industrial site into one of the city’s social gathering points. Drawing significant public interest, the festival stood out in Bornova with its distinctive concept.
