Rafetpaşa Neighborhood Thoroughly Cleaned

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki continues his neighborhood cleaning efforts without slowing down, with the goal of creating a cleaner and more comfortable city. Starting his day in Rafetpaşa Neighborhood, Mayor Eşki inspected the ongoing work on site, from washing and disinfecting waste containers to detailed street cleaning, and listened to the requests of neighborhood residents.

The latest stop of Bornova Municipality’s routine, detailed cleaning operations across the district was Rafetpaşa Neighborhood. As the first light of day appeared, cleaning crews began their work, joined by Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki, municipal council members, Rafetpaşa Neighborhood Headman Duygu Güzel and relevant department officials. As part of the operation, every street in the neighborhood was thoroughly swept and cleaned, while waste containers were individually inspected and serviced.

Waste Containers Are Both Washed and Repainted

Mayor Ömer Eşki closely monitored the work being carried out in the neighborhood and emphasized the importance they place on the hygiene of waste containers. Stating that the containers are not simply emptied but also washed and repainted using specialized vehicles, Eşki noted that disinfection procedures are carried out simultaneously to prevent unpleasant odors and bacterial growth.

Mayor Eşki: “We Are in the Field for Bornova 24/7”

Addressing Bornova residents during the operation, Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized that the cleaning campaign would continue uninterrupted. Mayor Eşki said:

“We have begun focusing more heavily on washing waste containers in this area. Our containers are being washed and repainted by our teams, while they are also disinfected to prevent unpleasant odors. Our primary goal is to create a more comfortable, more hygienic and spotless Bornova. Our colleagues continue working 24/7 for your well-being and health. Today, together with our neighborhood headman and council members, we are once again in the field and working for Bornova.”

Problems Identified on Site, Residents Heard

Following the completion of the cleaning operations, Mayor Ömer Eşki, together with municipal council members and Neighborhood Headman Duygu Güzel, conducted a comprehensive inspection tour of Rafetpaşa Neighborhood. Identifying deficiencies and areas requiring attention on site, Mayor Eşki visited the streets one by one and met with residents. Listening individually to the opinions, suggestions and requests of Bornova residents, Eşki immediately instructed the relevant department heads to ensure that the identified problems are resolved as quickly as possible.
