It is the second largest academic museum established in Türkiye and also the first academic museum in a university structure. The museum, where a very rich fossil record of life and countless rock samples are exhibited as if the 4.5 billion years of the world's natural history were squeezed into a time capsule, is located in the Faculty of Science campus of Ege University Campus. There is a symbolic museum entrance fee.
