“İZMAR and Cafeteria Projects Coming Soon”

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki inspected the planned investments in the İZYUVA area of Erzene Neighborhood and announced that, in response to residents’ demands, an İZMAR market and a cafeteria will be established in the المنطقة. The market will be constructed by Bornova Municipality and operated by the Metropolitan Municipality. The project also includes a cafeteria offering a social space with a view of the الخليج.

Mayor Ömer Eşki visited İZYUVA—one of the highest բնակելի areas of Erzene Neighborhood—and reviewed the works on-site at 113/25 Street. He stated that the long-awaited services requested by residents will be implemented shortly.

“We listened to our citizens’ demands”

Emphasizing the lack of social facilities in İZYUVA, Mayor Eşki noted that there has been no market or cafeteria in the area so far. He underlined that the project was initiated based on public demand:

“There are no social facilities, markets, or cafeterias in İZYUVA. Our citizens here had such requests—they wanted a market. In cooperation with our Metropolitan Municipality, we decided to open an İZMAR here.”

Eşki added that this collaboration will both facilitate access to essential needs and bring social vitality to the area. “As Bornova Municipality, we are undertaking the construction. Once completed, the Metropolitan Municipality will open and operate the İZMAR,” he said.

A social space with a bay view

Highlighting the geographical features of İZYUVA, Eşki stated that its disadvantages will be turned into advantages:

“While creating a market area here, we will also build a cafeteria next to it. Although the area’s distance and elevation may pose challenges, it also offers a beautiful bay view. The planned cafeteria will not only be a resting area but also a social meeting point. We will create a place where citizens can enjoy tea, socialize, and take in the view.”

With this project, İZYUVA residents will gain both a convenient market for their daily needs and a scenic social space to spend quality time. The works are expected to be completed in a short period.
