JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Evaluating applications for Risky Building Determination under Law No. 6306.

  • Inspecting and reviewing risk assessment reports prepared by licensed firms under Law No. 6306, including on-site examination of the buildings.

  • Approving the Risky Building Assessment Report Review Form.

  • Carrying out all types of official correspondence related to approved risky buildings under Law No. 6306 (e.g., issuing letters to Land Registry Office for annotation of risk, handling objection processes with the Ministry, letters regarding exemption from fees and charges, court-requested documents, etc.).

  • Initiating objection and evacuation notice processes for risky buildings.

  • In cases where risky buildings are not evacuated, notifying relevant institutions to cut off infrastructure services, filing criminal complaints with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and ensuring evacuation.

  • Monitoring the demolition process of risky buildings.

  • Coordinating demolition processes for risky buildings whose legal time limits have expired.

  • Collecting demolition expenses from property owners for buildings demolished by the Municipality.

  • Evaluating demolition permit applications for risky buildings.

  • Issuing demolition permits for risky buildings.

  • Evaluating applications for the Burned and Collapsed Buildings Form related to risky buildings.

  • Preparing the Burned and Collapsed Buildings Form for risky structures.

  • Imposing administrative fines under the Regulation on Building Demolition.

  • Responding to official correspondence (with courts, land registry offices, etc.) and citizen petitions.

  • Providing citizens with legal process information in accordance with the Regulation on the Implementation of Law No. 6306.
