Thousands of Children Gathered to Celebrate the Start of Summer!

The "Welcome Summer 2nd Children's Festival," organized by Bornova Municipality, turned Büyükpark into a vibrant carnival with the participation of thousands of children and their families. Young visitors celebrated the arrival of summer with a DJ performance, adventure courses, and colorful entertainment. Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized the municipality’s commitment to working for the happiness and future of children.

Organized in cooperation with the Sayra & Çınar Foundation and Radikal Schools, the "Welcome Summer 2nd Children's Festival" transformed Bornova Büyükpark into a festive celebration. With the school year coming to an end, children welcomed the summer holidays by enjoying a wide variety of fun-filled activities prepared especially for them. The overwhelming attendance made it one of the busiest and most lively days in Büyükpark’s history.

Büyükpark Became the Center of Fun and Delight

Every detail of the festival was carefully planned for children. Colorful mascots and professional animation teams welcomed families at the entrance, keeping the excitement alive throughout the day. Children tested their skills on giant adventure courses and danced to the lively beats of the DJ performance. One of the highlights of the event was the spectacular Bubble Show, where enormous bubbles filled the sky, captivating the audience.

In addition to the entertainment, children were treated to complimentary cotton candy and popcorn. They also enjoyed decorating their faces with sparkling designs at the Glitter Face Painting stand, creating unforgettable memories.

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki stated that the smiles on children’s faces are their greatest source of motivation, saying:
