The year-end works created by children attending the Bornova Municipality Children’s Play and Activity Centers throughout the year were presented to the public at a special exhibition held in the exhibition area of Büyükpark. The event, filled with colorful moments, showcased the children’s handmade creations, while a variety of creative workshops attracted great interest.

At the year-end exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to view artworks consisting of paintings, handicrafts, and various activity projects produced by the children. Young visitors not only toured the exhibition but also enjoyed participating in the fun workshops prepared especially for them.

As part of the event, the “Waddling Penguins Workshop,” “Dreams from Clay Workshop,” “Make a Jumping Frog Workshop,” and “The Magical Touch of Colors Workshop” gave children the opportunity to express their creativity. Throughout the day, children enjoyed both learning and having fun.

Contributing to the Development of Thousands of Children Across 10 Centers

Bornova Municipality’s 10 Children’s Play and Activity Centers, located in different neighborhoods across the district, are among the most important educational facilities supporting the social, emotional, and physical development of children aged 3–6. Through games and activities led by expert instructors, children have the opportunity to socialize with their peers, while families benefit from a safe and educational environment. The centers serve children at 10 locations across the neighborhoods of Naldöken, Evka-3, Merkez, Mevlana, Serintepe, Pınarbaşı, Atatürk, Altındağ, and Doğanlar.

Mayor Eşki: “We Nurture Our Children’s Imagination”

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki stated that supporting children’s social and creative development is just as important as their academic growth and emphasized that the municipality will continue strengthening its services for children. Highlighting that the Children’s Play and Activity Centers provide safe spaces where children can socialize and express themselves, Mayor Eşki congratulated the children, instructors, and families for their efforts throughout the year.
