The abundance of cherries will be celebrated with music, entertainment, competitions, and surprises

Bornova Municipality is preparing to bring residents together in Beşyol Neighborhood for the Bornova Cherry Festival, one of the most colorful events of the summer season. Taking place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, starting at 2:00 PM, the festival will offer an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages with a rich program featuring concerts, folk dance performances, children's activities, and an award ceremony.

The abundance of cherries meets the joy of Bornova

Throughout the day, the festival will highlight both the hard work of local producers and the cultural values of the region through a variety of activities held in Beşyol Neighborhood. The program includes a performance by DJ Olcay Fidan, folk dance shows, the highly anticipated Most Beautiful Cherry Competition Award Ceremony, and a concert by popular singer Gamze Matracı.

Special activity areas will also be set up for children, offering a wide range of fun attractions. A children's playground, cotton candy, popcorn, face painting, balloon art, clowns, and inflatable play structures will keep young visitors entertained throughout the festival.

Gamze Matracı will take the stage with her popular songs, providing festivalgoers with a memorable musical evening, while DJ Olcay Fidan’s performance will elevate the festive atmosphere even further. Folk dance groups will showcase the vibrant colors and traditions of Aegean culture in Beşyol.

The Most Beautiful Cherry Competition, where winners will receive their awards, is expected to be one of the most exciting highlights of the festival.
