An Aesthetic Touch to the Symbolic Park

Bornova Municipality has planted sakura and cinnamon trees with fragrant blossoms in place of dried trees in the park located at the lower section of Cumhuriyet. Mayor Ömer Eşki, who personally oversaw the work and gave the first watering to the trees, emphasized that the goal is to provide greener living spaces for Bornova residents with tree species that are both environmentally friendly and aesthetically pleasing.

The Parks and Gardens Department of Bornova Municipality continues its efforts to enhance urban aesthetics and create healthier green areas. Within this scope, dried trees in the park at the lower section of Cumhuriyet were removed and replaced with sakura and cinnamon trees, both known for their fragrant flowers and visually striking appearances.

Contribution to Nature and Aesthetics

With these efforts, the natural character of the parks has been strengthened, while more colorful, fragrant, and enjoyable living spaces have been created for the people of Bornova.

Mayor Eşki Gave the First Water

Following the work on site, Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki highlighted the importance of contributing to nature as he watered the newly planted trees for the first time.
Mayor Eşki stated: “We are planting species that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally compatible in place of dried trees. Our aim is to provide Bornova residents with more livable, greener spaces where they can breathe freely.”
