Bornova’s Seniors Celebrate the Holiday Together

A Festive Gathering Filled with Music, Solidarity, and Joy at the Healthy Aging Center

Bornova Municipality’s Healthy Aging Center, which supports older adults in maintaining active and healthy lives, hosted a special Eid al-Adha celebration. The event brought together Bornova’s senior residents for an afternoon filled with music, dancing, and companionship.

Organized by the Municipality’s Directorate of Health Affairs, the celebration featured group singing, dancing, and social activities. One of the highlights of the program was a musical performance by Selda Kesgi, conductor of Bornova Municipality’s choirs and instructor of the center’s member choir.

The spirit of unity, solidarity, and togetherness associated with the holiday combined with music to create a warm and joyful atmosphere.

Supporting Healthy and Active Aging Through Social Engagement

The Healthy Aging Center works to help older adults maintain active lifestyles socially, physically, and psychologically. The center offers a wide range of programs, including health awareness activities, cultural events, exercise programs, and music workshops.
