Concrete Road Campaign in Altındağ

Bornova Municipality has launched concrete road construction on the steep streets of the Altındağ district to improve transportation comfort and safety. Mayor Ömer Eşki, who inspected the works in Merkez Neighborhood, announced that a total of 25 streets would be renovated, with the efforts expanding to other neighborhoods afterward.

Mayor Eşki Inspects Work on Site

As part of its ongoing road construction initiative across the district, Bornova Municipality has accelerated concrete road works in Altındağ, an area known for its steep inclines. The first concrete pour was carried out on 4540/1 Street in Merkez Neighborhood. Mayor Ömer Eşki personally inspected the site, accompanied by the neighborhood head and municipal officials.

12 Streets in the First Phase, 25 in Total

Providing information about the project, Mayor Eşki said, “We began concreting the most urgent and problematic streets first. Depending on the need, we will either asphalt or concrete all remaining roads. After completing work on 12 streets in Merkez Neighborhood, we will move on to the Çamkule and Serintepe Neighborhoods. In total, 25 streets in this region will be covered.”

Toward a More Livable Bornova

Emphasizing the goal of improving transportation comfort through planned and comprehensive efforts, Eşki stated, “We will continue our work in all neighborhoods to ensure easier, more comfortable transportation and a more livable Bornova.”
