A colorful competition encouraging life in harmony with nature

Applications have begun for the “Most Beautiful Balcony & Garden Competition” organized by Bornova Municipality. Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki stated that the competition will help strengthen environmental awareness and contribute to the goal of creating a greener and more livable city.

Organized by Bornova Municipality to raise environmental awareness and contribute to the city’s visual aesthetics, the competition will bring together residents who add beauty to the city with their colorful balconies and carefully designed gardens. The event aims to promote a lifestyle connected with nature while enhancing the visual appeal of neighborhoods throughout Bornova.

Winners to receive awards on World Environment Day

The award ceremony will take place at Büyükpark on June 5 as part of World Environment Day celebrations. Participants ranking in the top three will receive valuable prizes. The first-place winner will be awarded a half gold coin, the second-place winner a quarter gold coin, and the third-place winner a gram gold coin. Holding the event on World Environment Day also highlights the competition’s environmental awareness mission.
