Through the Urban Gardens project initiated by Bornova Municipality, we bring local women together with farming and sustainable agriculture, enabling them to contribute directly to their family economies.

Life-long Learning & Agricultural Training

Women producing in our gardens receive specialized training in planting techniques, ecological farming, composting, and natural pest control.

Free Seed & Seedling Support

Seasonal vegetable seedlings, grown from ancestral local seeds preserved at our Ecological City Local Seed Center, are provided to our producers completely free of charge.

Sustainable & Healthy Food Access

Healthy vegetables, grown using completely traditional and organic methods without chemical pesticides or hormones, are delivered directly to household tables.

Social Solidarity Power

Urban gardens are not only agricultural production areas; they also serve as vital social community spaces where women socialize, strengthen neighborhood relationships, and sustain a shared production culture.
