Book-Filled Days Begin in Bornova

6th Book Days to Take Place in the City of Homer, Bornova, Between September 26 – October 5

The 6th Bornova Book Days, organized by the Bornova Municipality, will be held at Bornova Büyükpark between September 26 and October 5, 2025. With a total of 63 publishing houses and 438 authors coming together with book lovers, the event will also feature concerts, panels, talks, book signings, and stage performances, creating culture-filled days. Mayor Ömer Eşki expressed his pride in bringing together literature and art in the city of Homer.

Organized by the Bornova Municipality, Bornova Book Days has become one of Turkey’s longest-running book events and is meeting readers for the 6th time this year. Taking place at Bornova Büyükpark from September 26 to October 5, 2025, the event will bring readers of all ages into the magical world of books. Book Days will welcome visitors every day between 10:00 and 20:00.

765,000 books, 63 publishing houses, 438 authors
This year’s Book Days will bring together 765,000 books, 63 publishing houses, and 438 authors with book lovers. Concerts, performances, workshops, panels, talks, book signings, and stage shows promise a vibrant cultural festival for the people of Bornova.

Mayor Eşki: “We are meeting with books in the city of Homer”
Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized the importance of the Book Days with these words:
“Bornova is the homeland of Homer, the cradle of literature and thought. With the 6th Book Days, we are once again filling our city with the scent of books. For ten days, the people of Bornova will meet not only with books, but also with authors, music, and art. We are determined to make this great cultural gathering a tradition and carry it into the future.”
