Efforts Continue for Comfortable and Safe Transportation

Bornova Municipality continues its road renewal and asphalt paving projects in Mevlana Neighborhood and Işıkkent to improve transportation comfort and safety.

Mayor Ömer Eşki, who inspected the works on-site, announced that asphalt paving in approximately 20 streets in Işıkkent is nearing completion.

“We have reached the last unpaved streets in Işıkkent. Soon, asphalt works on nearly 20 streets will be completed and opened for public use. We will continue providing services to every part of Bornova in order to improve traffic flow, eliminate potholes, and create a more comfortable urban environment,” Eşki said.

Safer and More Comfortable Roads

In addition to maintenance and repairs, municipal teams are strengthening the transportation network through paving, surface improvements, and road rehabilitation projects.

Once completed, residents of Mevlana Neighborhood and Işıkkent will benefit from safer, more organized, and more comfortable roads.
