“Colors of Dance” Captivated the Audience

Participants of the Bornova Municipality Hobby and Skills Development Courses took the stage at the Ayfer Feray Open-Air Theatre with their year-end performance, “Colors of Dance Night.” The event, which attracted great interest and appreciation, featured a wide range of dance disciplines from ballet to folk dances. Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki congratulated the performers and emphasized the municipality’s commitment to preserving and passing on Bornova’s rich cultural heritage and artistic values to future generations.

The Hobby and Skills Development Courses organized by Bornova Municipality concluded with a spectacular finale. The “Colors of Dance Night” Year-End Dance Performance, showcasing the participants’ hard work and dedication throughout the year, was held at the Ayfer Feray Open-Air Theatre. Art lovers from across Bornova flocked to the event, filling every seat in the venue.

A Meeting of Cultures Through Dance

Throughout the evening, participants amazed the audience with performances in a variety of dance styles, including Ballet, Folk Dances, Latin Dance, Lindy Hop, Modern Dance, and Zumba. Under the guidance of instructors Ece Şerbetman, Osman Yardım, and Şenol Ağrıdağ, each group impressed spectators with their choreography, energy, and stage presence, earning prolonged applause.

The rhythm, elegance, and creativity displayed on stage transformed the evening into an unforgettable visual spectacle, celebrating the diversity and unifying power of dance.

Congratulating both the participants and their instructors, Mayor Ömer Eşki highlighted the importance of cultural activities in strengthening social memory and community bonds. He noted that folk dances and all forms of art play a vital role in preserving cultural identity and fostering unity.
