Special children in Bornova enjoyed a joyful cinema experience at an event organized by Bornova Municipality, where they watched The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. The children were treated to fruit juice and popcorn during the screening. Delighted by the event, they expressed their gratitude to the municipality, while Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki stated that they will continue to support the social inclusion of special children.

Through the organization of Bornova Municipality, special children from across Bornova came together for an enjoyable cinema event. Students receiving education in the Special Education Class of Süleyman Demirel Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School experienced an unforgettable day watching the beloved animated production The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.

The cheerful laughter filling the theater throughout the film demonstrated the success of the event. The cinema experience was completed with complimentary fruit juice and popcorn for the children.

Supporting Participation in Social Life

Organized in line with Bornova Municipality’s social municipalism approach, the event aimed to increase the participation of special children in social and cultural activities.
