“One Heart, A Thousand Stories” with Demet Aslan

As part of Bornova Municipality’s cultural and arts events, the concert “One Heart, A Thousand Stories – Love Songs with Demet Aslan” was held with strong attendance at the Nevzat Kavalar Cultural Center and Wedding Hall.

Beloved artist Demet Aslan delivered an unforgettable evening with her romantic repertoire and powerful stage performance. During the highly attended concert, participants accompanied the songs in unison, forming what felt like a giant choir.

A Repertoire from Emotion to Enthusiasm

The concert featured popular songs such as “Yalancı Bahar,” “Begonvil,” “Ayrılmam,” “Sana Kırmızı Çok Yakışıyor,” “Mecbursun,” “Pervane,” “Nazende Sevgilim,” “Damarımda Kanımsın,” and “Kader Diyemezsin.”

The tempo rose with Black Sea melodies including “Hey Gidi Karadeniz / Koyverdin Gittin Beni” and “Çayelinden Öteye,” while songs like “Haydi Gel Benimle Ol,” “Çalkala Hadi Adamım,” “Deli Mavi,” and “Sana Neler Edeceğim” brought the enthusiasm in the hall to its peak.

At times, the audience clapped in rhythm and sang along with the artist, adding a special energy to the night.

Mayor Eşki: “Art Is the Common Language of the City”

Speaking at the end of the evening, Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki emphasized the contribution of cultural and artistic events to the city’s social life:

“Art is the strongest common language of urban life. Tonight, we did not only sing songs; we met in shared emotions. We will continue to make culture and art accessible to everyone in Bornova.”

Participants thanked Bornova Municipality for the organization and gave the artist a long standing ovation at the end of the concert.
