The Bicycle Performance Park is Almost Ready

Bornova Municipality is nearing completion of the Bicycle Performance Park it is constructing on an 11-decare area in Yeşilova Neighborhood. Mayor Ömer Eşki stated that the project will be one of the most beautiful parks in İzmir and emphasized that it will add value to the area for many years to come.

Bornova Municipality continues to add new thematic spaces to the district. Following projects like Abide-i Hürriyet Square and the TRNC Park, the Bicycle Performance Park on 4088 Street in Yeşilova is now nearing its final phase. The ramps have been completed, and the asphalting stage has begun in the 11-decare area.

Inspecting the ongoing work on site, Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki highlighted the project’s value for both sports and social life. He said:
“This area is more than 11 decares. We are building one of the most beautiful parks in İzmir right here. It will be a bicycle performance park—a pump track. I truly believe this will be one of the most outstanding projects of this period. It will add tremendous value to its surroundings and have a long-lasting impact. Very soon, we’ll be introducing this park to Bornova and all of İzmir.”
