Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki met with his management team to raise the quality of services provided across the district to the highest possible level. At the large-scale meeting held at Nevzat Kavalar Cultural Center, the two-year performance of the Cleaning Services and Agricultural Services Directorates was reviewed.

Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki held an important summit with deputy mayors, department directors, and supervisors to evaluate projects that will shape the district’s future and strengthen coordination between municipal departments. During the meeting, held in the Municipal Council Hall at Nevzat Kavalar Cultural Center, the performance of key departments directly affecting quality of life in Bornova was examined in detail.

Two Years of Achievements Reviewed

Presentations were delivered on the work of the Cleaning Services Directorate and the Agricultural Services Directorate, two of Bornova Municipality’s most active departments. Both directorates provided comprehensive overviews of the environmental cleaning projects, rural development initiatives, and sustainable agricultural services they have carried out across the district since 2024. A roadmap for new projects planned for the coming period was also established during the meeting.

Mayor Eşki: “Our Responsibility Is Great; We Will Work Together in Unity”

Following the presentations, Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki addressed the attendees, expressing his satisfaction with the performance presented and thanking all municipal employees.

Stating that they would continue working day and night to fulfill their commitments to the people of Bornova, Mayor Eşki said:

“We all have important responsibilities on the path we have embarked upon to provide Bornova with the best possible services, at the highest quality it deserves. Since 2024, we have carried out projects that have transformed our district, from cleaning and agriculture to infrastructure and social initiatives. These achievements are the shared work of all my colleagues who have devoted their efforts both in the field and behind the scenes.

However, we must keep moving forward. Our residents have high expectations of us, and our responsibility is great. With this awareness, I expect you to continue your work with the same enthusiasm we had on our very first day, in unity and solidarity, and with complete dedication. Together, we will achieve even more for Bornova.”
