Year-End Exhibitions of Hobby and Skills Development Course Participants Attracted Great Interest

The works produced throughout the year by participants of all ages attending Bornova Municipality’s Hobby and Skills Development Courses were showcased in year-end exhibitions, turning into inspiring gatherings filled with art, creativity, and dedication. Exhibitions featuring a wide range of disciplines, from handicrafts and painting to ceramics and photography, were presented to the people of Bornova. Bornova Mayor Ömer Eşki stated, “We will continue to strengthen a city culture that values creativity and sharing.”

“Mixed Photography Exhibition” by Photography Course Participants

As part of a series of events extending from Büyükpark to Dramalılar Mansion, works captured through the lenses of participants trained by instructor Mert Ali Çakır at the Hobby and Skills Development Course Center were presented to art enthusiasts. Alongside the “Chlorophyll Photography Exhibition,” featuring nature and daily life-themed photographs, the “Mixed Photography Exhibition” was also included in the program. The photographs on display were examined with great interest by visitors.

Handcrafted Works Exhibited at Büyükpark

The “Handicrafts Year-End Exhibition,” prepared under the guidance of instructor Navruz Çalışal, was opened in front of the Büyükpark Girls’ Coffee House. Handmade products created by participants throughout the year received high praise from visitors. Colorful motifs, traditional textures, and modern designs were among the most striking pieces in the exhibition.

Painting and Ceramics Exhibitions at Dramalılar Mansion

The Painting Exhibition and Ceramics Exhibition, featuring works created by participants of the Hobby and Skills Development Course Center, were also presented to art lovers in the Gallery Bath section of Dramalılar Mansion. Nature, urban life, and human themes stood out in the paintings, while the ceramic works attracted attention with their original and creative designs.
