Children Take the Stage for Water Conservation

As the impacts of climate change become increasingly evident, Bornova Municipality continues its efforts to protect and use water resources efficiently. Within the framework of obtaining the “Blue Water Efficiency Certificate,” the municipality organized an important awareness event.

Training sessions on “Combating Climate Change” and “Sustainable Water Management” were held at Nevzat Kavalar Culture Center, alongside a compost-making workshop demonstrating environmentally friendly practices.

Recycling Fashion Show by Children

One of the event’s highlights was a recycling-themed fashion show presented by students from Malazgirt Primary School’s Fairy Tale Kindergarten. Wearing costumes made from textile waste, the children received enthusiastic applause for their dance performances.

Compost Workshop Promotes Circular Living

Participants learned how organic waste can be reused through composting, helping reduce waste while protecting water and soil resources.
